Hello my friends- Hope this message finds you well, and at one with the Force. 

While I'm stuck in WIP land furiously getting ready for the crazy Summer event season, I wanted to crawl out of my hole to wish you all a happy and healthy holiday. Per popular request, I created a limited giclee edition of an "old" RotJ scene titled "The Forest Sentries," originally produced as a 9-color screenprint in 2014. 

Although I loved the dark color scheme in the original edition, I always wanted to try a variant palette to better highlight the foreground characters etc; same overall color palette, brighter values. (Side note- I actually ended up hand-embellishing most of the original screenprints to add various AT-ST and foreground highlights, just for fun...)

Also for fun- all webstore orders from now until Friday 5/8 will include a new Scoundrel/Princess handbill set - originally done as a sketch commission - and maybe one or two other fun SW things thrown in the tube. We'll be back to new, regular print releases as soon as I hit some urgent Spring deadlines. Until then - May the 4th be with you. Always. -JC

GOOD WILL HUNTING started a few years ago as a small sketch commission, and this year's Boston MMC event seemed like the perfect time to fully illustrate the famous Public Garden bench scene. In another case of serendipity, this exact bench location is where I used to hang out after work just few blocks south on Columbus Ave. Obviously now it's a bit tougher to get an open seat there - especially during the milder months - but I stop by for a spell when I'm in the neighborhood.

The JAWS 50th screenprint was originally commissioned as an official AMC Theater Summer 50th Anniversary re-release. As often happens with large media companies, their production plans were altered due to executive-level shuffling earlier this year, and the project then morphed into a separate licensed release for MMC '25. Some of my regular collectors will notice the layout is an deliberate homage to a few past Amity Fin Series releases, as well as remastered portions of THE BEACH print from 2019.

FLW Fallingwater APs + Raiders of the Lost Ark 44th

Hello friends, hope you're all staying safe and doing well out there. I've been in deep production mode;  keeping my head down and my drawing hand cramped. Assuming deadlines are met, I should have tons to share in the upcoming weeks/months as we slide into Summer and a busy convention season...lots of Jaws 50th (both official and personal work), as well as many Disney Fine Art and Disney Parks pieces in the works that I can't wait to reveal...until then...

First up are my long-overdue Fallingwater screenprint APs - my 4th print in the Frank Lloyd Wright: Timeless series. I'll be re-visiting this series sooner than later... so many houses...

Also-  On the 44th Anniversary of its release, I can't think of a better place to escape than into the world of Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark. My larger Temple Falls and Well of  Souls screenprints are long sold out, but per popular request we created small 24"x8" giclee editions for Indy collectors to hang with the previous IJ 24" release The Map Room. Per ususal, I've also created exclusive Raiders-centric handbills to be included w/ purchase.

TIDBITS OF TIME / The Hudsucker Proxy art print release

Hello friends-  One last print to end 2024, one that reminds me that each new year brings not only personal reflection and a sense of sorrow, but also renewed hope for the future.. 

I first tackled The Hudsucker Proxy back in 2011 as a 25.5x15.5 screenprint titled "Tidbits of Time," and it remains one of my favorite films to re-watch around this time of year. Originally created as a commission from a long-time collectore, this giclee edition has been re-drawn/re-oriented to accomodate my 'usual' format of 36x12 (3:1) to match most of my previous widescreen movie prints.
